Zacapa Centenario XO is a blend of rums aged between 6 and 25 years, to which is added a second stage of maturation in French oak barrels, originally used for cognac. The perfectly balanced combination of sweet flavors, spices, fruits and alcohol is due to the master blender's skill. The assortment is characterized by perfect elegance, being the most opulent in the range. It is hard to guess how such a small container can reveal a drink with such a complex combination of flavors, which at the same time retains its finesse and refinement. Zacapa Centenario XO Rum is matured in the mountains of Guatemala, at high altitudes, where the strong air slows aging and the atmospheric pressure encourages the infusion of aromas from the barrel walls, resulting in a mesmerizing and noble assortment. Tasting notes: Smell: A captivating fragrance that combines woody notes, burnt sugar, caramel, roasted nuts, marzipan and orange peel, with slight floral influences of honeysuckle. Taste: An elegant and complex mix of aromas of black cherries, chocolate, prunes, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and oak wood, to which are added accents of mango and raspberry.
