Semmelrock residential concrete slab, Rettango, square, red, 400 x 400 x 50 mm Rettango concrete slabs are a durable paving system, distinguished by their simplicity of form and discreet color, which is why they are particularly recommended for residential applications. They are intended for the construction of terraces, garden paths and alleys around the house, courtyards, parking lots, access roads, sidewalks and pedestrian walkways. The slabs are prefabricated from normal vibropressed concrete , made by combining two layers: the finished surface made of wear-resistant protective concrete and the base layer made of concrete with high resistance to mechanical stress. Rettango concrete slabs are resistant to freeze-thaw and de-icing salt, according to SR EN 1338 - 2004, SR EN 1339 - 2004 and SR EN 1340 - 2004. Only concrete-specific de-icing products (calcium chloride-based) are permitted for use. De-icing solutions based on sulfates or sodium chloride (salt) can damage the surface of the slabs.
