The integrated damper smooths out the power profile generated during starting and makes the starting process much easier. Strong vibrations at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on the blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system, through which oscillations in the machine's engine are dampened, which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles. The easy, comfortable thumb control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle. When used in conjunction with a harness, the bicycle handle allows for a smooth mowing action. The bicycle handle allows the machine to be guided easily, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue. The central wing nut allows easy adjustment without the use of tools. For transport and space saving, the handle can be rotated 90°. A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburetor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required after an extended break in operations. This controller in the carburetor prevents the fuel-air mixture from becoming too rich because the air filter is clogged. The correct amount of fuel is delivered to the carburetor based on the amount of air passing through the air filter.
